To apply for our Graduate Development Program you must expect to have completed a superior honours or post-graduate degree majoring in Economics, Finance, Commerce or closely related discipline by the end of 2005.

To apply for vacation work under our Cadetship Award, you must currently be in your third year of study (or equivalent if undertaking a double degree) majoring in economics or finance and intending to complete honours in 2006. We will also consider applications from students undertaking a double degree, also majoring in economics or finance who will not complete their studies at honours level until 2007.

As a minimum an academic rating of distinction average is required.

Your degree must be from an Australian university or recognised by the National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (NOOSR) as an equivalent qualification. Your application must provide detailed academic results. We will not process your application in their absence.

As well as strong technical skills we are looking for well-rounded individuals who are comfortable dealing with people at all levels and have the confidence to convey their ideas. You must have a cooperative and caring approach to working with others. It is also vitally important to have a real interest in the work we do here at the Bank.

Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia at the time of making their application.

Applications must be made through our on-line application process.

Graduate and Cadetship applications for 2006 are now closed. Opportunities for 2007 will be advertised in March 2006.
