Learning and Development

Development both on the job and through more structured programs is encouraged throughout the RBA.

The Program is tailored to your needs and is aimed at providing you with knowledge and skills to enhance your professional career. Devised in consultation with RBA graduates it includes a range of specialist courses:

• Graduate orientation week
• Computer skills
• Business and technical writing
• Presentation skills
• Leadership

Other development opportunities such as movement through other positions, attending conferences and seminars may also occur throughout these first two years.

This initial program is a strong foundation for a longer-term personalised development program.

Post-graduate studies are encouraged. Financial assistance as well as study and exam leave are provided for part-time study.

Our Post Graduate Study Award Scheme also assists a smaller number of exceptional graduates to undertake full-time studies in Australia and overseas.
