The work exposures for graduates are broad, catering for a range of study backgrounds and interests including micro and macroeconomics, finance, accounting and science. Placements are available in our Economic, Financial Markets, Financial System, Corporate Services and Business Services divisions. All placements are in our Head Office in Sydney.

Your initial placement will take into account your study background and interests as well as requirements of work areas. No matter where you are placed you will contribute to the Bank's influence on the Australian economy.

The work you will be involved in as a graduate could include:

• Monitoring, analysing and reporting on economic trends in Australia and overseas
• Analysis of and research into macroeconomics and financial markets as well as microeconomic issues concerning the financial system and labour markets
• Monitoring and dealing in money, securities and foreign exchange markets
• Contributing to briefs prepared for the Bank's senior management and Board
• Liaison with other organisations
